X U L A

X U L A was a sonic happening that I co-organized with another sound artist at SET Space. It gathered live experimental performances with artists and musicians who explored ideas of intimacy, connexion and gatherings during a time when the Covid-19 restrictions made live events difficult in London.

Specifically composed for X U L A, through electronics and acoustic elements, the trio explores a tiny creature common to their respective homelands: the cicada.
